    Alternative to Quicktime?

Are there any alternative downloads to Apples Quicktime that will play .MOV files? I prefer just a codec that will play the movies inside WMP if possible.

I found "Quicktime Alternative" via google but it does not seem to work in Win 7 x64.

Sorry to bump an old thread but I am having a similar problem with QT Alternative and didn't want to create a separate topic. I use QT alternative to DL the HD trailers content from Apple's site (Apple - Movie Trailers), before 7, it was downloading the trailers without any problems. But now when I try to download, it only downloads 23.8K and of course it does not play anything. I have tried 2.7, 2.8 and 2.9 all resulting the same. I am not sure whether it's Apple changed something on their site or it's happening because of QT Alt & Win 7 incompatibility?

Thanks in advance to all who responds

The QT Alt is compatible but there are so many reasons it may not be working that it's anyone's guess really.

My suggestion would be to find a different program for the job and see if it works. If it does not then maybe it is the site.
