hauppauge 1800 hvr no qam in 7???

    With W7 you should be using the 4.8a driver kit, which may be shown as beta on some parts of the Hauppauge web site. I'm surprised you got 4.6 to work. I didn't. It is very common to get few or no channels reported in a scan. MC only reports channels it can fully resolve in the line-up. With QAM, this is very hard. Of 81 channels physically detected, my scan resolves only four. I need to manually add and edit the ones I want. Go to hdhomerun/channels - Silicondust and select Canada and put in your Postal Code to see what is available.

    I made a mistake, I have the 4.8a drivers.

    I will have to try and manually add them.
