How can I run multiple instances of MP?

I'm trying to compare original .mov files to variations of transcoded .avi files. I really need to see them side by side, preferably 3 screens at once. I tried pinning MP to the task bar and shift-clicking but nothing happens.

If this is not possible, could you recommend a player that would allow me to do this?

    Thanks,
    Burt

    Never Mind...

I downloaded VLC and it does zackly what I want. Funny, when I first installed W7, I downloaded VLC and for some reason it made everything look . . . ugh. Looks great now. Perhaps, it is all the assorted codecs I have running wild.

    I use Avisynth/MeGUI.

After the encode is finished, you already have a Avisynth script for original.
Just make a quick avisynth script for the recode, and open it up and compare side by side, frame by frame.
