Outlook Accounts Passwords

I am using Office XP Pro with Windows 7 (same problem on Windows XP Pro). I have three accounts in Outlook. Each time I close Outlook and sometimes when Windows Hibernates Outlook loses the passwords for my accounts. All the accounts work once I reenter the passwords and continue to work as long as I don't close Outlook. Is there some way I can get Outlook to remember my passwords?

Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Hiya and welcome to the forums.

I'm using Outlook 2007 but it hasn't changed much so if I remember correctly from Office XP days there is an option under "tools" "email accounts" to "remember password" ... make sure it's ticked

The Remember password box is checked and has been all along. I have had the tech support for my ISP look at it and he can't figure it out either.

Want to set up different Outlook accounts, MUST be totally separate
Hi all, this is just my 2nd post, but the first was a good experience and this appears to be a great forum. My question, I'm sure for many of you, will seem rather ignorant. I'm really PC-savvy, I even build my own systems, and have used MS Office from when it first came out, and I've used Win7...

Good information. I remember when I installed Outlook 2003 I had to hunt around for my settings during the install. But you know, no matter how hard I clean the program out when I upgrade. The new installation has found my account settings and on the initial boot it comes with the accounts and...
