Word 2010 beta - need some clipboard help.

I'm well versed with Office and the clipboard but this issue is frustrating me as I can't figure out why it's happening nor any way to stop it. The clipboard is set to Collect without showing but to provide the notification on the taskbar and ideally I don't want to change that. However, while it will collect clips okay within 1 session, I'm finding now (and think this only started this past week or so) that it clears the entire clipboard of items on closing Word - I've tried it now a few times but haven't had any success in changing this and since I quite often collect items for use much later on, and don't want to keep Word open, it's a real issue now for me to try and resolve.

I've hunted everywhere within the Options but couldn't find any setting that might be useful - anyone any knowledge of this and how to stop it happening??

    Thanks

As I understand it Seven's clipboard only holds one item at a time, as an item is put in the clipboard it deletes the previous one.
To retain and use clipboard items try http://www.clipmagic.com/.

No - the Word clipboard holds up to 24 items and should retain them, replacing the last one when it reaches 24 - which it will do with mine ok in a single session - the problem arises when I close Word. Until recently, it would have held all 24 clips after closing but no longer and that's what I'm now trying to get an answer for - what I've maybe done that has changed a setting somewhere that's clearing the board on Office shutdown?
