Are you using MS Office 32-bit or MS Office 64-bit and where did you get it from?
I am using the 64 bit version and I bought if from Microsoft. I checked Program Files\MIcrosoft Office\Office14 and there are no executables in that folder. Did you mean to put Windows in the path you put in your response because that path does not exist on my computer?

I was finally able to find the executables in the program by opening the file location shown for the winword process in task manager. They are in my program files(x86)\microsoft office\office14 folder

Using Task Manager is what i tried to point out in Post #6.

You can also use the Task Manager "Image Path Name" column to see where the executable is.

As the .exe files are located in Program Files (x86) it means you have installed the 32-bit version of MS Office 2010.

The 64-bit version is located under Program Files.

The disc has both the 32-bit version and the 64-bit version of Office on it.

I quoted that path because you said you had installed the 64-bit version when in fact you've installed the 32-bit version.

As I explained in my previous post, the default path for the 32-bit version is under Program Files (x86) and for the 64-bit version it's Program Files.
