Outlook won't send (neither will WL Mail)

    Outlook, Office 2010 x64
I was able to send last weekend, but this weekend I could not (send/receive error is all Outlook says)
The email is still sitting in my Outbox.
WL Mail won't send because it doesn't recognize the address I am sending to (not in the contacts, with no option to add new contacts).
The only thing that changed was the Windows updates that arrived this past week.
Has anyone else experienced this and have a solution?

Note this is not registered yet, but I have always seen/had send/receive errors with 2010. I won't register unless it functions correctly.

    Outlook email

Hello, my name is Kimberly. I just register here recently. The problem that I am having is:

How do you register and/or get your outlook (Windows email) working? I am getting frustrated.

Kimberly, I recommend you start you own thread. Also, look at the top of the Microsoft Office section page. Their is a link to a list of tutorials.

Jebuchanan, WL mail does not require you to have a person in your contacts to email them. Have you considered that you may have mistyped the email address.

I considered that so I copy/pasted the email from the one they sent me (it is to send my hours in for work). I am certain it is spelled correctly, I don't get a postmaster message saying email cannot be delivered, just a notice saying it can't be sent (from within WL Mail) because the address is unknown and not in my contacts list.
    Strange, it is.

Have you tried sending it from the website your email account is through, like gmail, yahoo, verizon.net, comcast.com etc.

Yes I did. That worked correctly, as expected.
I received the confirmation email was received.
