Oh the GUI my bad . I think the only way to get the office interface in another language is by buying a language pack for office. A language pack gives you the office interface in that language.

Language Packs for the 2007 Microsoft Office system product overview - Office Suites - Microsoft Office

If the language you need is not available in a language pack, then you can download a language interface pack (only available for lesser known languages, so German is not included).

You can take screen shots directly from Word, new word art effects. etc. Nothing really major that would warrant me, personally, from upgrading. But I am entitled to the latest software where I work, so it's a no brainer. If you have the money to blow, get 2010. If you are conserving cash, stay with 2007. If you are broke, go with OpenOffice (which has now changed its name).
thanks a lot

my worry, trouble is the 2007 installer , i installed under xp , and it mess up my xp
thanks for the sincere, honest help

by the way office 2010 is in multi language ? i mean can i have the english and my native language and maybe german too ,like w7 ultimate

why does openoffice change the name ? OpenOffice.org - The Free and Open Productivity Suite
and openoffice it's great and free but it's a lot more slow then microsoft office , at least compared to office 2003 and 2007

Hi there office 2007 has loads of Language packs even for languages like Icelandic and Welsh.

Office 2010 doesn't have these all ready yet.
