    Office 2010 Ddilemma Language packs

    Hi all
Just some advice needed by anybody working with International Organisations

Windows 7 is fine for adding a lot of languages. Office 2007 also has all the languages we use but rolling out W7 with Office 2010 seems the best bet --however the lack of quite a few languages in Office 2010 could make this a problem.

On the site it says "Coming Soon" but anybody got any idea on "How soon is Soon".

Our test bank is W7 Enterprise English version with the appropriate extra languages installed -- primarily the X-64 bit version but a few PC's still need to run X-86.

Upgrading a load of computers TWICE seems like a lot of wasted time but W7 works fine and ready for a corporate roll out.

The Office 2007 vs 2010 issue is getting now to be the main blocking factor here.

Even on W7 x-64 machines we'll plump for the 32 bit of Office 2010 when and if the language issue is resolved.

English is fine for some of our colleagues but there are a lot of people who would like as much as possible in THEIR OWN LANGUAGE (and why shouldn't they too).

Any MS Professionals here who could shed some light on this issue. Might sound trivial to some people but this for us is a HUGE concern.

    Cheers
    jimbo

    Hi Jimbo

I am not an MS Professional, but I wondered if this helps at all?
