Office 2007, but need 2003 Exel?

    Hi,
I have Office 2007 installed on Win7, but I need to use and do an online course for 2003 Exel.
Is it possible to just install the 2003 Exel and leave 2007? Any conflicts if I do this?
    OR
Do I have to uninstall Office 2007 and reinstall the complete Office 2003?

    Thanks in advance.

    ugh, never easy or fun...

So let me start by saying it's much easier to start from scratch (nothing installed).

You'll need to enter the advanced installation options for both 2003 and 2007 office installers.

So if you start with 2007, you'll click advanced setup and uncheck excel from that selection...

Then when you pop in your 2003 disk/iso/exe... You'll enter advanced setup and uncheck EVERYTHING but excel.

Good luck, this is usually a huge pain -- don't forget to update both suites once installed

I've had to save my excel '07 files as a '03 compatible, would this feature help?

    Thanks,
so should I Uninstall 2007 FIRST and then reinstall 2007 without Excel, followed by 2003 with only Excel?

    Thanks,
to be honest, I dont have a clue?
I need to work with Excel 2003, so the easiet way is the best for me.

OH, as a side question, is there any or much difference between Excel 2003 and 2007?

differences, yes. 2007 uses ribbon menus and 2003 doesn't.

Yeah - or should, depending on the version of 2003 suite you have.
