    Outlook "not responding"

I have search nearly every post related to this problem and still no solution. When I navigate from one email to the next the program will go “not responding” for a couple of seconds.
I have followed several suggestions, but to no avail. Listed below is some of the suggestions I followed.
Removing all add-ons, enable/disable indexing, scanning and fixing PST/OST files, installing Windows 7 Pro 32bit and 64bit, installing on RAID 7 and no RAID, using different hard disks Seagate and WD, update all drivers, scanned the memory for defects, removing flash player.

I know this has been posted several times, but any help is welcome

Which Office/Outlook version are you using?

    Which email provider?

I also found the following entry in my Event log, but if I use the online log(TechNet) I get a reply "no result found". It is not limited to Outlook, some of the entries is explorer related

The program OUTLOOK.EXE version 12.0.6539.5000 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Action Center control panel.

Is it possible that your anti-virus program is scanning each mail, causing Outlook to 'not respond' briefly?

Here is a very comprehensive article on issues which might impede Outlook 2007 performance...

Should any of the actions resolve your problem, please post back for the benefit of others. :)

    Very good point.

I wonder what AV(S) they are running???

I have seen this when the user had more than one AV running at the same
    time.

    YMMV
