    Hello!

So you ran the first tool in Safe Mode. You then tried to install Office in Safe Mode. Same result.

You then rebooted into Normal Mode, and completely removed everything to do with Office using the second tool. At this point, you tried to re-install Office again, after a restart ideally, and you still got the same error?

    Thanks!

What makes you think theres a registry permissions problem? can you tell us which line in the log files you attached indicate that is the problem?

Also, is this a pre-manufactured, hologrammed cd?

    this line says:-
MSI(INFO): 'Property(S): ERRORSUPPORTTEXT_PERMISSION = Verify that you have sufficient permissions to access the registry or contact Microsoft Product Support Services (PSS) for assistance. For information about how to contact PSS, see C:\Users\ALIENW~1\AppData\Local\Temp\Setup00001414\PSS10R.CHM.'

If I understand your question correctly you can do a repair install.
You will not loose any of your info, pictures or files.
    Repair Install

You WILL need an original Windows 7 installation disk to do this.

Hope that answers the question and helps.
