In Outlook go to File and left click.
    Go to Import and Export
    Select Export to a file
    Click Next
    Select Personal Folder File (.pst)
Highlight the personal folders at the top (with luck your Bus. Contact is also in this folder?)
    Click next
Select browse and create a folder/destination for this back up.
Click Finish and the process will begin and depending can take a considerable amount of time !

linnemeyerhere hit the nail on the head, back up outlook to .pst. You'll need to do one more task, click on File -> Business Contact Manager -> Back Up / Restore OR Import / Export, you could export all BCM items and customization and create a back up to restore on another machine and/or after you format.

    Regards and best of luck,

    Hi Culture!

Unfortunately, there is no super-simple method of exporting/importing ALL of your settings from Outlook 2010. I went through this recently when I got a new laptop and wanted to transfer because I use Outlook with my Gmail account to track all of my bills and to-do's.

If you have customized Quick Steps, Quick Access Toolbar, etc. they will have to be exported individually. There are also two places for the quick access toolbars--the ones for your main Outlook screen, and also for new messages. See this link for info on how to export/import these settings. Hope this helps!
