    Outlook Contacts Issue

Has anyone else experienced a similar problem?

I update my outlook contacts frequently as I depend on them for my work. The amount/number of contacts I have saved in my outlook keeps changing by itself. I go into my contacts and I have 1,280 contacts. I will go in again and it will say that I have 1,893 contacts. I'm just looking to find out what is causing this and if I am possibly losing contacts or if they are somehow disappearing or being moved.

Every single contact in there is important to me and I can't afford to lose any. I'm baffled as to why the number goes back and forth.

Thanks! I'm running Outlook 2007 with business contact mgr, although I am not using contact mgr. I'm just using the contacts in my regular outlook email.

What smart phone do you have connected to this email/contact account?

I have a Blackberry Tour synced with outlook. Do you think this has something to do with it?

100% - blackberry desktop manager sets the sync operation... You'll need to check the sync option that allows your phone and desktop client to update eachother and not duplicate emails.
