    OneNote 2010 format question

How do I format the text window so that the text expands farther to the right? I've searched OneNote help and the forum and cannot find anything on this.

    Thanks.

The text on the left is actually inside a "box" -- which you will see when you move your mouse anywhere inside the text area. You simply put your mouse cursor on the right edges of the text box and drag it to the right.

Or ... am I misunderstanding your question?

Hi Mark. I created the red box to show the area into which I'd like the text on the left to expand.

I am able to 'drag' the box by using the arrows in the red circle shown below.
    - That appears when you touch the area in question.

Irene: I don't seem to have that option, and I've tried other views. What setting am I missing to get there? Thanks.

    Found it!

In case anyone is confused about this as I was, it's the "Show note containers on pages" box, which I needed to check.

Thanks, Irene, for steering me to the solution.
