Automatic backups from Onenote?

I store a lot of important data in OneNote, was just wondering if there is a free online backup service to an online storage, or, if there was a scheduled event that I could make it so it backs up to my external hdd.

Thanks.

Open OneNote - File - Options - Save & Backup - check the 'Automatically backup my notebook at the following time interval.

Hope that helps.

Oo thanks, is there a way, though, to remove the (On <Date>) part? Because if I import them to OneNote, I have to go all through my notes and delete that.
Edit: Regardless of where I save it, if I press the button to back it up now, it says "OneNote has encountered a problem and cannot complete this operation". I have more than enough disk space to fit all the files also.

I found the following MS article which although it refers to OneNote 2003, may well be relevant in the 2010 version:
You receive the " ...cannot complete this operation" error message when you try to back up files in OneNote 2003

This behavior may occur when your Backup folder contains a shortcut to another folder

Doesn't fix it, I've changed the folder 5 times and created new, empty ones.

But have you removed any short-cut in the backup?

I understand it to mean that there might be a shortcut within the material which you are backing up.

To work around this behavior, remove the folder shortcut from your Backup folder.

To determine the path for your Backup folder, follow these steps:
  1. Start OneNote 2003.
  2. On the Tools menu, click Options.
  3. In the Options dialog box, click Open and Save in the Category list.
  4. In the Paths box, note the path for the Backup folder that is in the Open and Save area of the Options dialog box.
  5. In Microsoft Windows Explorer, move or delete the folder shortcut that is contained in your Backup folder.
Point numbers 1 to 4, I believe, are merely a method to establish the location.

I know how to find and change the location, but no matter what location it is, it doesn't work; I assume that this isn't the problem
