Problem With Activation Office 2010 and running KMS

    Dear Users; hello
I have a serious problem with activation "Office 2010 Professional Plus" in windows Seven Ultimate (x32 bit)
I try some step without any successful result.
I found that Activating is possible with KM Service. I try much to run that service but it faild to run correctly.
indeed the service start and stop right after starting. (I attached the window that shown after trying to start KM Service too)

    So my doing inclue:
    1. Turn Off User access control - > faild to start correctly
    2. Run KM Service in safe mode -> // (the same result)
    3. change logon for the service (startind mode and user logon) -> //
    4. disable office protection service (and software protection) -> //
    5. try to run in MS-DOS -> //

sometimes message showed that you doesn't have access... but usually starting the service failed because of this message. I also do the following steps with administrator privilege and disabling Firewall and anti virus.
Because of solving some of my problem in this forum I guess that just Sevem Forum users (Experts) could solve this problem.
So i was wonderring if anyone preffer solution for completing activation and running the service.

I should point that I tast running the sevice in XP service pack3 without and problem!
another problem is any time that i want to run any Office application (like word), configuration window showed, however installation was successful but i tried to fix it by "Repair" from Add/remove program. the problem also exist too.
    Thanks Very much

The only KMS arrangement I have used is the one run by my employer, so this may not be relevant, but just in case this helps - you usually need to be logged in to the same network as the one where the KM server resides. For me, this meant connecting by VPN to my work network in order to go through KMS validation successfully. If I don't connect by VPN, the KM server refuses to validate the installation.

Also, KMS systems usually check the installation at intervals (it's not a fix and forget arrangement, the validity of the installed copy of Windows is checked at regular intervals, I think every 180 days), so you need to connect by VPN periodically in order to avoid Windows thinking that it's an invalid installation.

    Hope this helps :)

As far as I know, the Office 2010 ProPlus version is only available in one of the following three ways:
    • Provided by a company for personal use -- in which case, the company has a volume license and is allowed to provide a copy of ProPlus to its employees for their own use. In these cases, the company also provides a working Product Key to each employee. I personally know of two companies doing this and in both cases, they provided legitimate product keys.
    • Installed on a work machine (for a company) and using an established KM Server box to manage volume licensing. This is an "enterprise" environment and licensing is transparent to the Office user.
    • Obtained over the Internet from one of the various "Warez" sites, which also provide an app that claims to be able to work around the licensing problem by attempting to run its own KM service.
Not pointing the finger here ... but if yours is the second option, then contact the IT folks in your company, since they are the ones responsible for licensing your copy. If yours is the third option, we can't help you -- as we do NOT support software piracy on this forum.

I think the PROPlus is available for everyone as long as they pay $499.99 for it. I have this version, however, my mom works for an insurance company so, she got a copy for free. Which means I could be wrong.

Did you download this from an illicit site? If this is the case, don't even bother because we do NOT contribute to piracy here. If you have a legitimate copy, contact Microsoft. I really hope you have the latter, because piracy is wrong and will most likely infect your PC.

    Dears my firends;
Thanks very much for your contribution and your guide, those are very useful, I learnt some new things even; but i think i found out the the problem that was occurred.
I tested in new pc that recently Seven OS was installed on it. It works fine without any problem! so it seems that some conflict between this service and another app were caused to this occurrence. I want to share it with you that try to support me by your idea. :) maybe you would face that too.

    special for (under)jonathan
and about dear jonathan...loooooooooool I think it could be better if you take s.th easy. i also used your helpful idea before too. you might found so many Microsoft's Software distributors in your city, and contact with them might be easy and possible for you, but all the people maybe not as the same as you drear! It doesn't mean that everybody that haven't these possibilities, are trying to find some illegal solution for using softwares. and Excuse-me but I think by telling these awful words you might accuse others to illicit using and etc. I think it would be better to keep trustful relation with the forum users (i don't know about the forum's users presence in future too)!
By the way that it seems, I think it is not has direct relation to the forum that know about the source of the software too. for example when you get s.th to a repair man, he ask you that where did you buy it (or trying to repair)?
How ever thanks again, i was gladden that found the final solution by myself that there wouldn't any need to answer such these questions. Sorry for my log story message but it seems that it just my 3rd post in this forum and i faced with the same strange things. hope you would have a joyful day, dear Senior!

I did not understand a thing you said BUT, I did not see where you denied the fact that you downloaded a pirate copy. Anyway, I'm glad you solved your problem. Oh, and I'm not a senior, I'm just 17.

Jonathan.. I don't know what you didn't exactly understand in my last post but
    1. "Senior" is your member state! please find it bellow your avatar's username in each post in the forum
    2. its your told -> "I did not see where you denied the fact that you downloaded a pirate copy." Sorry but it was extremely awful! I thought I made just a simple mistake about you, but unfortunately you repeated those again.
Dear Jonathan, please try to both respect yourself and keep people's respectability. :)
I think its essential for each person to do that. Maybe you want to be in your own idea, but it's not my responsibility to
convince you. maybe it would be interesting if know that I tried many forums before, but Excuse-me I didn't see such bad words in answer of any people in the forums.
I want to send it as a private message because I didn't think that it was related to my first question in this topic, but unfortunately i didn't find any link to send private message in your user's details. and again unfortunately The thing that I just found out is related to your personality. Have good time.

From what I read a while back, I think you're talking about Office Professional -- which IS available for retail purchase.

I thought I read the ProPlus was only available in a volume license version, and thus, was only provided to businesses -- for their further distribution.

And, from what I've seen, ProPlus (often called Enterprise or Corporate) is THE version that is made available through Warez sites and streaming services.

We have two versions of ProPlus at home, and in BOTH cases, these were obtained through our different employers as versions they provided to their employees. And ... in BOTH cases, we each were provided a SERIAL NUMBER to use to activate our version. In NEITHER case, were we provided a KM service utility to run ourselves.

So, once again, when someone has their OWN copy of ProPlus, and they're messing around with getting their OWN KM service running, that is almost certainly an illicit version of Office 2010.
