Not sure why you posted they or what the translation means, but that is the technical preview, not the beta 1. I have that version.

@7techno7im - When you said to boot up in safe mode and "try it", do you mean to boot up in safe mode and try to uninstall it? Or do a system restore?

Last I remember you can't install or uninstall in safe mode due to the service not starting, windows installer...

I just spent 20mins manually uninstalling Office 2010. Not too bad, but I am glad i have 2 registry cleaners, CCleaner and Windows 7 Manager. Cleaned up a lot of missed Office stuff that is not listed on MS's site.

I meant boot in to safe mode and do the system restore. My SATA controller has some odd thing not resolved yet where is cannot dismount volumes with the driver loaded, only in safe mode.

Safe uninstall wont really work, you need to installer service, which doesn't load in safe mode.

We established that yesterday, people need help getting rid of it to be able to run a version of office again, you can't run 2 sidebyside.

Well i just followed the links given to us in these threads related to Office 2010. I have 64 bit Windows 7, so when you see both 32bit and 64bit instructions, DO BOTH SETS!!

I went here and downloaded this program:
You receive the "This patch package could not be opened" error message in an Office program

I select everything related to Office 2010.

I then went to this page and followed exactly what it said starting where it says Step One( Only I looked for Office 14 and things related to that):

How to manually uninstall the 2007 Office system if you cannot uninstall it by using the "Add or Remove Programs" feature

After I went through and did everything it said, I then ran CCleaner for the registry and then I followed that up with Windows 7 Manager Registry Cleaner.

I made backups of the registry before both cleans, just to be sure.

After I did the Registry Cleaners, I made sure I have able to see hidden files and went into Common Files, AppData(in every User), and deleted anything related to Office.

Hope that helps. This is very brief, but you get the idea. If you need any more help let me know.
