    Importing Pictures, add captions

I will get into this program if I can know ahead of time that it will do what I want. If it does, please feel free to give me some guidance.

For starters I want to design a page using 6 or 8 pictures. I want to be able to resize, caption, and relocate them while developing the page. Then export them to an image file where they cannot be changed.

The final file size should be about 5" wide and about 4" tall. (or there about) Am I looking at the right program? I have never used Publisher before.

I am sure that as soon as I click on "Save" and then exit, I will think of more to add... (-:

PowerPoint will do all this for you. When you have the page the way you want it (PowerPoint has good tools for importing, resizing, repositioning and captioning pictures), select all (Ctrl-A), then right click on any one of the objects and select Group from the menu. Then right click on the grouped object and Save it as a Picture from the menu that pops up :)
