How to Change Metafile Information

Hi Forums,
I have a simple question. I have Windows 7 OS and Microsoft Office 2010 programs installed on my company computer. I need to fill out the Metafile as much as possible. Each time I bring up the Properties under the File tab it has the Company listed as Hewlett-Packard (my computer manufacturer). Where can I go in the Registry to change this or how can I change this to show my company's name permanmently, instead of the HP name. This happens on all of the MS Office 2010 (Word, PowerPoint,Excel, etc.) newly opened files.
Thanks for your help.

Hello INBKK, welcome to the forum.

Let me first say that this topic is not within my knowledge base. However, I performed one or two searches and came across the following, which I thought might be of some use to you:

Companion Software > Support > Resources > Windows Metafile FAQ

Writing Metafile or ADS (Alternate Data Stream) Information to Files on a NTFS Partition from LabVIEW - National Instruments

I apologise in advance if they do not cover your problem.

See this support page, its applicable to office 2007 so the reg entries may be somewhat different.

How to change the company name and user name in 2007 Office programs

Heres info about reg key equivalences in different Office editions.

How to reset user options and registry settings in Word

Basically you need to locate key values containing the existing company name and replace them as desired.

Please be careful while making reg changes and backup the registry before starting.
