    Office 2010 Licensing

I just bought Office 2010 Professional Plus from my college where I attend for another PC I own. There are 3 CDs (DVDs) and they came wrapped in plastic in CD sleeves. There is no where where it says how many PCs it can be installed on. How can I find out?

1 CD is Office, another is Business Contact Manager, and the other is MS Lync 2010.

Look on the CDs whether you can find the EULA (end user license agreement). That would tell you.

The only thing I see is:

All use subject to volume license agreement. Do not make illegal copies of this disk. Not for retail or OEM Distribution. Not for resale.

It says the above on all 3 discs.

That sounds like a special volume license agreement the college got. You may have to ask them what the terms are.

*sigh* darn. I asked and they didn't know. I guess if I put it on too many machines it just won't activate, correct?

You can always try. I think in Office it works on the "honor system". If MS has a problem, they'll let you know.

There should be a strap on it with the license, if not the IT administrator can help you.
