About MS Windows 10
Hello Friends,
I am a newcomer to this forum. I have an Acer Aspire 5755 laptop & currently have Windows 7 ultimate.
I want to ask that whether the scale in top of MS Word have matched with the physical i.e.
actual ruler or not. And if it is matched then what happen if we use a large size screen.
Please help.

Welcome to the forum,
The ruler at the top will be actual size when the page is set at 100% and will scale accordingly when adjusted up or down.

About MS Word 10
Hello Derekimo,
I get your point but when I tried to confirmed that by applying an actual ruler onto the screen, by setting the zoom level at 100% the ruler on the top is quite large (about half an inch) from that of
actual. Also I want to know that what will happen if we use a large-screen monitor or a projector, does the ruler still correlates with the physical ruler in this case and what about the small screen size say of a
palmtop or PDA. Please elaborate.

It depends on the monitor and drivers - it has to communicate properly the actual size of the screen for Windows to be anywhere near accurate (and it'll never be right on a projector :))

The Microsoft Word ruler is relative to the paper size selected not the monitor size or resolution. It is a guide to help you know placement/aspect when the document is printed to paper or saved as a PDF.
