Any problems using Access 2007 database with Access 2010?

According to what I've read, Access 2010 uses the same database format as Access 2007. So this should mean I can open and run a 2007 database (with a lot of VBA code) in Access 2010 with no trouble, yes?

So why do I have the feeling that something is not going to work? Is it because I have been through to many Access upgrades?

    Hi bbinnard,

If you have not purchase Access 2010 yet, what I'd recommend is....download the Trial Version and play around with it for quite a while.

Yeah right, if only it were that easy.

Unfortunately the IT Dept. where one of my clients works decided to install Office 2010 on her PC without checking with her (or me.) Now, for some reason I have yet to discover, the Access application I developed no longer works.

Interesting info for sure, but both have to do with going backwards from 20010 to 2007. My question is just the reverse; from what I can tell Access 2010 is "supposed" to run any Access 2007 application just fine. Except, sometimes it doesn't.
