    The problem never occured for me until Windows 7 RC Ultimate 32 bit was installed.

    If I tried to open Word by clicking on an existing document Word would Freeze and would crash when I try to close it. A document would never be displayed. However, if I open Word first the go to "Open" ans select the document the document would open fine, but still crash when closing Word.
