    Outlook Hung, now it doesn't show messages

    I was deleting emails when it stopped responding. I restarted it and now it doesn't show the message when you click the email. This is in the default / compact view.

    Hello MadSupra,

    ATM my mind reading skills are on holiday.

    * Which version of Outlook do you refer to?

    * Have you a System Restore point you can return to PRIOR to the current problem?

    * Have you uninstalled /reinstalled?

    * Have you tried the Outlook Repair Facility?

    * Did you check in Event Viewer for error messages?

    Event viewer.
    Type eventvwr in search and go to the windows log>application tab.
    Look for errors that have red in the left hand column that say app hang, or app crash, or anything relating to the CURRENT problem.
    When you find any make a screenshot and upload them to us.

    What information appears in event logs (Event Viewer)?

    I don't think this is technical. I just think that while I was deleting emails, it deleted the message box while it hung, but I don't know where I can restore it.

    Try doing a repair....

    Control Panel, Programs and Features, click Office 2010 and at the top click on Change, when the box comes up, click Repair and follow the instructions.

    I tried Repair, it didn't help. I tried Outlook Repair Facility, opening Outlook after repairing didn't help.
