Issues with "Office Home and Student". SOLVED

Gooday all. My first post. I bought a Sony Vaio in Thunder Bay Canada last September. I got the Office Home and Student at the same time. It is a family pack with 3x users. I installed it on the lappy and then my own computer at home and also on my daughters laptop, which is now defunct. Question 1. As her lappy is now out of order, can I load the Office home and student on to my wifes's new computer.
Next is that strange things have been happening with the office home and student. If I go to the start menu and click on the office home and student icon there I am told that I have already bought MOHS. If I click activate I am told that I must have a valid key and this other program launches and asks do I want to look for a solution on the internet. I get out of there and go to all programs and there I can click Microsoft office and it expands and shows all the programs. Word, excel, powerpoint and so on. There is also an icon for mocrosoft office starter and that is what opens if I click to save a document. I also have recently acquired a qdrive which I beleive has something to do with the Microsoft office home and student. I have had a number of other issues with drives but this will do for now. Thanks in advance for any help. JT53

Yes, albeit you will have to call Microsoft to activate. Just tell them basically what you indicated in your thread.

Thanks Lee. See you like Linux too. I enjoy playing with them also.
