Microsoft Office icons are not showing.

Dunno what happened. One day they were fine and the next they were gone. I've attached a photo so you can see what's happening. My VLC player and Adobe Photoshop icon also disappeared. I've used the rebuild icon cache and it fixed the VLC and Photoshop icon but not the Microsoft office ones. Any ideas?

go to control panel / add remove programs and select microsoft office the "change" tab and repair the installation. i had the same problem a few days and the repairing fixed it.

Still not working. When I click the change tab, a Microsoft Office window opens and says that the setup is preparing the necessary files but then the window just disappears without doing anything.

Yes, I'm able to use it. The thing is, I have a lot of files and it's just so annoying to see them without an icon. I'l try to reinstall it now. I'll see what happens and report back.

Umm.. I don't know why, but I can't seem to uninstall Microsoft Office. It says that the uninstall did not complete successfully.
