I am using Outlook 2010, on Windows 7 Pro and am having an issue with table formats. When something is sent in table format, my email turns it into a long list, below is an example: Below is what is sent in table format

Hi steimy and welcome to W7 Forums

Try this: Click on File, Options, Mail. Scroll down until you get to the section Message format. One of the options there is Reduce message size by removing format information not necessary to display the message and it is checked by default. Uncheck it and then click OK.

That one is already unchecked. And it appears that my above table I posted did not come out as a table in the first example. It should look like a table with lines and sections somewhat like an Excel format. Under Mail-Format, none of the boxes are checked.

I am wondering if i should just find a way to just reset everything to default settings and see what happens.

I've just sent a dummy Excel sheet to myself, and also a table in Word. I wasn't bothered about the content, so I just entered random characters. Both attachments displayed correctly upon receipt.

Do they display correctly for you if you do what I've done and send yourself test messages?

No, not unless I scan the stuff and make them attachments. If I copy and paste them into the actual body of the email, even those I send to myself have the same results. The become a long line of text rather than a table.

Let me try copy/paste to see what happens on my system. I just assumed that they were normal attachments, and not inserted into the body of the message.

    They display as they should.
