    [OneNote] Black Background

    Hello SevenForums.

It's always great returning here for support so I thought I'd ask you guys.
I started using Office OneNote 2010 for writing notes as the teacher talks. OneNote does the job in my opinion.
Question is, is it possible to make the background in OneNote, black instead of the default white? In File > Options, you can actually change the font to white which I want if I could get the background another color.
I searched on it but I couldn't get up valuable result.

    Fred.

There is a page color option on the view tab but it seems just to be pastel shades.

Yeah I noticed a few minutes ago. Seems like that'd be the closest I'd come. Thanks for your reply Kado. :)

you could try getting a background image that suits you and drag it onto the onenote page, create a new page first.
drag the corner to resize it large
then right click the picture when you have filled the box , (it takes a short while ) then select set as a background,
then click file and page set up and at the bottom click save page as a template,
now we need to work out how to change the automatic text color to white,
this is it so far ,

on a off topic sort of way .when i was having a look for a solution for you i found this really interesting thingy for onenote, i use office 2007 on the lappy and it worked for me, the canvas works fine and i can see it being a real benefit when i start using onenote more than i do.
    have a look here...

Canvas for OneNote | OneNote PowerToys

the download link gives a 404, but second last comment from rK gives a working link.

I downloaded and installed OneNote trial, and that background color can be changed in the aero.msstyles but it effects other areas like the background of Notepad and the update window, some areas in property Windows. I think boohbah has got you on the right track. If I can be of more assistance let me know.

I tried this and it actually works. You talked a bit about setting the text color to white, I think I found something.
