Error 1406 on Microsoft Office Professional

I do not remember where the small MS Office 2010 cleaner is on MS forums... but I had to run that awhile back to totally remove 2010 because of corrupt reg entries. Then I reinstalled MSO 10 and no problems after.

How to uninstall or remove Microsoft Office 2010 suites

I used Microsoft Fixit 50450 to remove Microsoft office completely and then tried to reinstall it and got the following message:

Error 1406. Setup cannot write the value to the registry key \Software\Classes\Interface\{9149345A-5A91-11CF-8700-00AA0060263B}\TypeLib. Verify that you have sufficient permissions to access the registry or contact Microsoft Product Support Services (PSS) for assistance. For information about how to contact PSS, see C:\Users\Maja\AppData\Local\Temp\Setup000009b0\PSS10R.CHM.

It gives me the option to Abort Retry or Ignore.
