    Outlook 2010 will not sync imap folder automatically

    Hi, I'm using OL 2010 with Windows 7 Pro x64. I have this problem of OL not syncing all my imap accounts. I have various imap account for different purpose. One for reading tech journal, one for ebay and so forth. Right now, I will only see there is incoming mail when I click on it. Once I look on the folder once then I will see new mail w/o having to click the account to see new mail. I though imap suppose to automatically get email for me or am I wrong?

    Hi slam5

    I am Sampad from Dell Social Media.

    Try the following steps :

    Open Outlook > Click on Send/Receive Tab > Send/Receive groups >Settings for group "All Accounts "> Enable all the options and schedule the interval for automatic send/receive

    Let me know if this worked or not.

    Thanks and regards,

    Hi slam5

    By default, Outlook 2010 allows up to 10 Exchange accounts to be configured in a single mail profile. If you for some reason need to add more than 10 Exchange accounts to your mail profile, you can extend this limit to up to 9999 via a registry tweak.

    IMPORTANT : Back up your registry before you make any changes to it

    Start > Start Search > Regedit (run as administrator) > Go to the following location.

    Key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Exchange
    Value name: maxnumexchange
    Value type: REG_DWORD

    Note 1: With a single Exchange account, you can again connect to multiple mailboxes that are hosted within the same Exchange Organization. These additional mailboxes do not count towards the accounts limit. You can see your amount of configured Exchange accounts via;
    File-> Account Settings-> Account Settings…
    Note 2: While Outlook 2010 was still in BETA, the limit has been increased multiple times during BETA refreshes. You’ll find some information still referring to a default maximum of 3 and an absolute maximum of 15.

    Thanks and regards,
