Can not find pre-installed Office 2010 on new laptop

My brother's new Acer laptop came with microsoft office 2010 supposedly installed into the computer. I can't find a click to run or anything. I do have a product key off of the back of the laptop though. Any Suggestions? Thanks.

It should be in All Programs off of the Start Orb. If not do a search using Window Explorer.

Maybe try clicking the start button/orb, and in the search there, type "Office" and see what you get. If nothing, you can download the install if you already have the key.

What version of Office does the sticker on the back say it's for?

I've tried looking through all programs, and the start button, etc. The sticker doesn't say what version other than home premium OA.

I believe it is just the trial starter version if it came pre installed, the product key is more likely for your Windows 7.

Does it also say "Office" or just "Home Premium"?

How about a full model number and we can give you more info.

First off, make yourself SURE that you have MS Office 2010 on your PC. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Uninstall a program and you will see MS Office in the list of programs installed IF ITS INSTALLED on your PC. it should look something like this...

Next, go to the start menu and search for 'Microsoft', 'office', 'word', 'excel', and things related to Microsoft office like that.

    If nothing comes,

You said you have the product key underneath your laptop right? Download Microsoft Office here and install it. Then enter your product key...
