Office 2003 SP3 crashes repeatedly with Windows 7 Home Premium

    Hello,

I'm using MS Office 2003 SP3 with Windows Home Premium 64-bit, and I've noticed that both Excel and Word crash a lot. Certain keystroke combinations result in this more than others - e.g. Ctrl+V or Ctrl+C between cells in Excel.

I think this problem occurs for me on every 2 out of 3 Excel session, so it is very very frequent.

Has anybody else noticed this? I've tried to search online but haven't really found anyone else who's experienced this problem.

    Thank you.

I have used Office 2003 Professional (Mainly Word and Outlook 2003) with both Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit and Professional 64 bit and have not had any problems. I don't use Excel very much, but I do use Publisher occasionally and I use FrontPage 2003 to manage my web sites. I also used Office 2003 with XP and Vista.

I had a similar issue recently on a laptop I had to repair, this helped me fix the problem (my issue was caused by the Bluetooth btsendto_office.dll) - this file just allows the bluetooth to integrate into office, I renamed it to .old and the problem went away.

    ...hope this helps

    Hi,

No luck unfortunately. This is *exactly* the same problem as you indicated, but the fix didn't work. My config is as follows:
    HP Pavilion dv3
    Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
    MS Office 2003 SP3

To know your complete system specs:

    1. Click on the Start
    2. Type System Information on the search bar
    3. Go to this link and fill in your specs

System Info - See Your System Specs

PS: Did you try repairing office?
