Lotus Notes and Word 2007 mail merge problem

    Hi,

There is a problem with Lotus Notes and Word 2007.

Mail merge is not working with Word 2007 and Lotus Notes 8.5.

It is working well in Windows XP, but it is not working in Windows 7.

It says that you don’t have mail program installed, although Lotus Notes is a default mail client.

Do you know how to fix this problem.

    Thanks in advance.

Wow it's been a while since I've used Lotus Notes. Under default programs, does it show Lotus Notes as the default mail program? Is there a setting in Lotus Notes itself you might check to see if it can set itself as default?

Yes, it shows that Lotus Notes is default mail program.
I cannot locate settings in Lotus Notes this kind of setting.

Looks like quite a few people are having issues with this version. Might want to try updating to Notes 8.5.2 per IBM's Technote SPR# JZJZ84WDMA (IBM Unable to set Notes as the default mail program in Windows 7 - United States)

Actually user is using version 8.5.3.

And it is default mail client. Listed there.
    Thanks for a response anyway.

Maybe you have some another suggestions?

Actually it doesn't help me, because user needs to use mail merge command.
