word 2003 paste is all black

am writing to ask for help with this problem.

I have office 2003. when I copy and paste a song sheet into a word document, the paste is completely black and thus useless.

I have searched for a solution for days. I have tried tweaking options in word. I cannot fix it. would someone please tell me if there is a way for me to fix this problem?

I read stuff about bluetooth add-ins. have not found anything on my computer about it.

when I go to paste, I do not get the option with the 3 choices of how to paste. even though in the settings I have the box checked that says to do it.

    any help, greatly appreciated.
not sure when problem started. (it worked fine for years.)

    Have you tried
Go to Word > Help> Detect & Repair.

    just tried it.
I get installation error: file not found

a required installation file SKU011.CAB could not be found

    I do not have it.

    original installation source required.

I know I bought it. but I don't have the cd or whatever it is I need.

Seems this is a Registry error I ran a search in Google which you can do but unless you know what you are doing i don't
advise this but if you do decide to have a go backup the Registry first

    thanks for your replies maxie.

definitely do not know what I am doing. and will therefore not do anything with the registry unless I am sure I will not mess anything up worse.

if you or anyone, have any more thoughts, I would love to hear them. thanks alot.
