Does it open if you rename the file to .xls?

i can't do that. Its my office work of other party so really sorry... I hope u understand.

I really need to open this file. I try to serch over net & find some solutions but all failed

I downloaded compatibility exe from Microsoft too but nope its not working same invalid file error.

I try other extentions also like .xl, .xsl, .xml & few more but nope in some cases file works but with that weird text.

It's really the file that's corrupt? Try to open the file on another machine. Rename it to name.zip and open it. It looks like it is a real xlsx file.

When was last time you could open it readable? Make copy of file first. Rightclick original file->previous versions. Try to go back in time. Or use a backup copy.

I don't have too much time to get on here these days as I just got a new job that's keeping me busy so hopefully someone else help if the following doesn't.

If it if corrupted maybe these couple of pages might help (make a backup first) if you havn't tried them yet,
How to Repair a Corrupt XLSX File | eHow.com
Recovering a Corrupted Excel 2007 File | XLSX and XLSM Format
Corrupt XLSX Salvager | Free software downloads at SourceForge.net

or try some others by searching for "repair xlsx" (without quotes).
