Getting Rid Of Personal Folders In Outlook 2007

I have set my mother's account up with GMAIL. When she reads her emails her inbox is showing "Personal Folders". I go into Account Settings and try and set her mailbox as default which it will not allow me to do.

Is there a way to just have her email account setup without "Personal Folders"?

    Thanks

I'm not sure what you mean. Can you post a screenshot?

How did she end up with her account being down there? I have Outlook 2003, and so this may not apply anymore in 2007, but I have 3 different e-mail addresses and one of them is my gmail address, and all of my e-mail from all 3 of those accounts goes into Personal Folders > Inbox. I didn't do anything other than simply add the accounts using Tools > E-mail Accounts: Add a new e-mail account. One of those accounts is my default account, but it's not my gmail account. Yet again, all 3 go into Personal Folders > Inbox.

So, I'm saying that I think it should be the same for Outlook 2007. That's why I'm wondering how her account ended up being down there.

No idea...People are blaming it on that I set it up with IMAP not POP...I heard IMAP was the way to go with setting up GMAIL in an email client?

I don't know. I set it up as a POP account and I don't have any problems.
