My recent Word is not on show!

Apologies if question been asked prior to this.

I usually have a full recent documents on show in my Office 2010, but for some unexplicable reason I now have none showing. I done 3 word documents yesterday saved & printed, thought today that I would do copies from the "recents" to save me using file open etc, but alas zilch nothing, any ideas you have most appreciated.

Have you reset the recent doc's list ?
Do you have the same issue from the Taskbar ?
    Reset both,
Recent Items - Enable or Disable
Office logo or Blue file button on the top left and Word options,
Advanced/ Display/ switch the number of items to 0 and save.
Close office and re-open and set the number to something else. close office again,
Open the docs and see if they appear on the recent list after you open them.

    Hi thanks,
You can pin the program to the Taskbar (right click it to see the doc's) or the tutorial is for programs on the start button list,
See if either of these methods collect your recent doc's.
