    Office 2010 Installation problem

Unable to install Office 2010. [The language of this installation package is not supported by your system]

Not sure what that means, what language are they talking about.

    Can anyone help please.

(The disc is English and my computer is English using Windows 7 HP)

There are many versions of English. Check your computer in control panel under "languages & settings" to see what version of English you are using & then check the Office 2010 DVD to make sure they are the same. Changing your computer language setting may cause problems in some applications so this should be avoided.

If the language settings isn't the issue, have you tried to install it on another PC? Try that too, and if it installs on another PC, try changing the CD/DVD player. Or, you could try and download the files to your desktop and use the setup.exe file from there, this may also work.

Hope you find a fix mate. I know how frustrating these things are!
