    Can not install MS office

I just installed Win 7 and now installing all the software. Sadly, I failed to install MS office 2007. After I give the product key the installation starts window appears but that's all, I see no progress is made in 20/30 min. Tried two different CDs.

    1. Install the program with Run as Administrator.
    2. Disable anti-virus programs when installing.
    3. Make sure that all windows updates have been installed.

Unless you are having some other issue with hardware I think that you would be wise to completely wipe that drive and then re-install W7 again along with all the updated drivers then connect to MS and start the update process. How do you expect W7 to operate with only 1gb of ram?

I expect because I have been using it for 1 year.

So you've had W7 loaded for a year and just now getting around to loading Office but having issues? It sounds like both disc's are damaged, try cleaning them of borrow a friends with the exact same version and when promoted you'll just put your key in. What are the chances you have it running on too many machines?

Running Windows 7 and Microsoft Office with 1 gig of ram isn't going to happen.
