how to stop auto-correct for proper nouns/place names

another area where microsoft products get worse...

but in office 2010, how to turn-off the auto-capitalisation of, for example, place names.
it's super annoying...I have all the tickboxes in the auto-correct menu switched off, but it still capitalises every proper noun and/or place name, which I don't want it to do!

Have you tried all the options listed at this MS website. This applies to Word. When the website open just scroll down to the Word 2010, 2013 & 2007 & click on that which takes to another page showing all the options.
