    UK spell check required not USA.


    I am using Outlook 2007 and for some reason the spelling check is underlining words because I am not using the American spelling. This is a very recent issue and I have never had a problem before, so what has changed? If I go into spelling at the far right of the "Message" ribbon the box says "Spelling and Grammar: English (United States)". How do I change this back to English (United Kingdom) please?

    Many thanks for that. It looks as though Word and Outlook are already set up to spell check using the UK dictionary. It may be that the problem is that I am replying to an email from Canada and the original email would, no doubt be set to check using the USA dictionary and somehow this applies to my response.

Although I can see the spell check icon in Windows Live, it is dimmed and not active. How can I make it active? I thought I picked it under Mail Options, but it doesn't seem to make any difference.

IE 9 and Spell Check

Can anyone please explain to me why IE9 does not have a native spell-check capability? All other browsers seem to have it. Is there a technical reason that prevents IE from having this? Has MS ever explained why spell-check is not included as a feature of IE (especially in 9 Beta and RC)? Thanks
