No Send to One Note links

Hello, Just when I think windows is working BOOM! I haven't used it for a while but was going to start and now I no longer have send to one note links from IE11, Word2010, and at this point I don't know what else. Please advise. Thanks very much.

    Hello Ranger4,
Thanks for your prompt response. Following the link to modify the registry it turns out that there is no Send to OneNote command in the subkey that I am attempting to modify. I really don't want to start changing stuff on my own in the registry. please advise. Thanks.

You could try repairing Office. To do that open Control Panel, select Programs & Features, scroll down to Microsoft Office 2010, Right Click on it & select Change, this will open a couple of Repair options to try.

Also check to see if OneNote is in it's correct location in Office. To do that click on the Start Button, select All Programs, scroll down to Microsoft Office 2010, Left Click on it & find OneNote, Right Click on it & select Properties, when the Properties window opens select the Shortcut Tab & then click on Open File Location & OneNote should be in that folder that has all the other Office programs in it.

If you cannot find OneNote anywhere you may have to uninstall Office 2010 & reinstall it again. However, sometimes uninstalling Office & reinstalling can have some problems getting it to reinstall.

    Hello,
I tried repairing Office 2010 through add/remove programs and also with my backup cd. Still no shortcut to OneNote. Also I noticed I no longer have my Naturally Speaking shortcut. I read some place about Trust Center. Is this a problem. I see them both in add-in for Word. I'm really hesitant to uninstall/reinstall. Always creates more problems. Let me know if we can try anything else. Thanks.

I really cant suggest anything else. The only option that might work is Editing the Registry using that MS website I posted for you on Post #2.
Print that website page, so you have the directions to follow exactly. Also backup the Registry first in case something goes wrong. But otherwise it should be fairly straight forward.

Thanks all for all your help. after some months not using one note, I did a repair install of office H&B 2010 and can now send to unfiled notes notebook from ie11. not the same unfiled notes as before. I had to create a new unfiled notes notebook. the original was better, but this works. thanks again
