    MS Outlook 2003

I have MS Office 2003 Professional which is not 100 pc compatible with Win7. As an email client I am currently using Thunderbird 31 which, in my opinion, takes forever to load - I have it set to load when starting Windows. So I have a three-pronged question:

    a) Would it be advisable to switch to Outlook 2003 from TB31 on a Win7 laptop?

    b) Is it possible for me to install just the Outlook portion of Office 2003 rather than the entire Office program? Custom install, perhaps?

    c) If Outlook 03 is preferred to TB31, should I consider purchasing an Outlook 2007 or 2010 rather than install my 2003?

I thank one and all in advance for all assistance.

    Regards from cold Ottawa, Canada.

As Office 2003 is no longer supported by MS, it becomes more susceptible to attacks from malicious & viral sources. So if you have no requirement for Office then it would be sensible to just purchase Outlook on it's own. It would be best to select one of the later ones like Outlook 2010 or 2013, as they will have the longest support from MS into the future.
These can be purchased on line from MS or from a retailer of your choice.
