    Unable to install Office 2010 Professional Plus


    Hi all,

    I am trying to install Office 2010 Professional Plus but it simply aborts at the first (Extracting files, please wait…) progress bar notice. The progress gets to around 95% and the notice disappears as it should but it never opens the (Please wait while setup prepares the necessary files) Office logo screen. It simply doesn’t install. No error message.

    Ideas anyone.

    What media are you using? DVD? Download? Please elaborate.

    As well as answering Boozad's question you might take a look at this MS website as there is reference to some problems with Dell computers, that according to your System Specs you are using.

    Thank you for your reply. I don't have a CD so it was just a download. It worked properly on my desktop but would not on my laptop.

    Did you check the website I posted for you?. Is your desktop also a Dell computer?.
