Outlook 2010 html appearing as plain text

I am beginning to get some, not all, emails in plain text. I can recive, vew and sen html just fine. Two different senders today have sent emails that they are sending in html and I ma seeing them in plain text and it is getting to be very omportant that I fix this ASAP. They are clients.

I have checked security center to be certain plain text is not checked. I saw this issue several years ago, IIRC in 2003 ?

Much appreciate any and all help. Thanks.

    Hi,

I think Irene is on the money. Originally, I thought the problem might be what I have circled in the attached image, but if I read your post again, then it sounds like you have already checked these settings that I have circled?

Thanks everyone. I had searched and uncovered these links and they're a no go. In fact I just got another plain text email.

One search yielded an issue with AVG which I use to clean out some cookes then delete and it is not runningon this machine. I use MS Security Essentials.

I'm wondering if there's anyway short of a reinstall to reset eberything just in case ?

    Hi,

Is AVG still installed on your system? Some AV software convert the HTML to plain text.

No. Uninstalled and not in the Program list.

    Mmm, OK.

Are the plain text emails always from the same clients? It could be there ISP converting the HTML to plain text.

I think that might be the problem - their ISP, for whatever reason, converts their email to plain text. It also could be that your ISP converts any mail from their ISP to plain text.

Unfortunately, there isn't much/anything that can be done about that.
