OneNote OCR issue - not copying original format of text

I am a beginner user to Microsoft's OneNote, and hence just discovered their OCR 'grab text from image' handy feature.

However, when I do this, it does not keep the original paragraph format of the text.

For instance, if the text is:
Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Quisque varius tortor sed massa volutpat, laoreet fermentum nibh sagittis. In id libero varius, vehicula purus non, lacinia magna. Cras tristique hendrerit nisi in condimentum. Pellentesque nec congue mauris.
Maecenas et dui sit amet odio gravida dignissim eget non massa. Pellentesque vel velit in diam fermentum condimentum non at ante. Phasellus rutrum pellentesque malesuada. Vivamus iaculis bibendum dictum. Donec efficitur viverra sem sed ultrices.
Phasellus vitae lacus non nisi pulvinar laoreet. Phasellus felis elit, pulvinar nec consequat et, euismod a nulla.

If I grab the text uisng the OCR and paste into a Word document, I get instead:

Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetur adipiscing elit. Quisque varius tortor sed massa volutpat, laoreet fermentum nibh sagittis. In id libero varius, vehicula purus non, lacinia magna. Cras tristique hendrerit nisi in condimentum. Pellentesque nec congue mauris. Maecenas et dui sit amet odio gravida dignissim eget non massa. Pellentesque vel velit in diam fermentum condimentum non at ante. Phasellus rutrum pellentesque malesuada. Vivamus iaculis bibendum dictum. Donec efficitur viverra sem sed ultrices. Phasellus vitae lacus non nisi pulvinar laoreet. Phasellus felis elit, pulvinar nec consequat et, euismod a nulla.

What am I doing wrong?
