Cells containing symbols; deletion problem

I have attempted to transfer some data from an on line journey planner to Excel by copy and paste.
No problem arises from the operation, but I want to remove the symbols (see att'd) from the pasted item prior to printing. What is the best way to remove them, please? Will apparent sub-division of the column that contains the symbols have any effect on procedure?
