    Outlook 2007 archive issues


    Hi folks,
    I am having an issue with Outlook 2007 on my home laptop.

    On an irregular basis but at least once or twice a day, an email that I finish and send will go to the Archive Outbox and stay there. They will not send from the Archive Outbox, I have to click and drag them to the normal Outbox and re-send. Sometime this works and sometimes not. On occasion they will go back to the Archive Outbox when I hit Send.

    All saved drafts will go to the Archive Drafts. I have to click and drag them to the normal Drafts. Then when I eventually finish the Draft and hit send, then more often than not it will go to Archive Outbox.

    Make sense ? Its very frustrating. any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Batz67, welcome to the Forum.

    Do you need an Archive Outbox?. I would clean it up & delete it.

    I would suggest doing the same with Archive Drafts.

    These really aren't needed as ordinary Drafts stores emails that you are still working on but have not completed & the ordinary Outbox has emails that are in the process of being sent.
