Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit 7601 Multiprocessor Free Service Pack 1

Hi Alimenium. Brian here. Have you tried to have Word repair itself? Click the Office Botton, the ball in the upper left corner select Word Options at the bottom of the dialog box that opens. Select Resources and then Run Microsoft Office Diagnostics
Let us know if that helps

Thank you Brian for your help.

Unfortunately, I had tried Word's repair from the "Change" option in the control panel as well as from the installation CD itself. didn't work.
I noticed however that installation it took incredibly long, I figured the installation CD was corrupt in someway. so I took it to where I bought it got another copy.
The problem is solved now. thank you anyway.
